Manufactured by General Fireproofing as chair #4419 and found on a few of the great trains of the '30s & '40s, these are probably best known as the smoking and compartment chairs on the SP's Daylight.

I have 6 of these great deco aluminum chairs in good but unrestored condition. Mostly upholstered in (unmatching) vinyl or cloth, they retain their brushed satin aluminum finish, though the anodizing is worn or dirty in spots. Aside from the mismatching fabric, they're quite presentable as-is.
